For almost two decades, Ofer Cohen has been at the forefront of Brooklyn’s remarkable transformation dedicated to Brooklyn’s dynamic real estate market and civic institutions.  Ofer Cohen is the Founder and Chairman of TerraCRG.  Since its inception in 2008, TerraCRG has been at the center of Brooklyn’s renaissance, becoming a true market leader throughout the process. Ofer is also the Co-Founder and Principal of Ailanthus, a housing development platform dedicated to addressing the housing crisis through thoughtful, collaborative public–private partnerships. Drawing on his deep transactional expertise and extensive network, Ofer is expanding the Ailanthus platform and plays a pivotal role in structuring and closing complex site control transactions and partnership deals with execution and capital partners.

Ofer currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and he recently completed his tenure as Board Chair of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership. Ofer lives in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and traveling.
