Samal Shepherd joined TerraCRG in 2025 as an Associate on the Investment Sales Team, specializing in the sale of multifamily, mixed-use, and retail properties in Williamsburg.

Prior to joining TerraCRG, Samal has been an active real estate owner and operator, developing, renovating, and managing an investment portfolio across Newark, Tampa, and Miami. His hands-on experience spans acquisitions, value-add renovations, asset management, and disposition, providing an ownership-driven perspective on underwriting, deal structuring, and execution.

In addition to his real estate background, Samal has experience in strategy and operations consulting, where he advised executive-level clients across the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors on corporate strategy, operational due diligence, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This analytical foundation informs his approach to investment sales, enabling him to combine market insight with disciplined, data-driven analysis.

Samal earned his Master’s degree in Health Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York. Originally from Tampa, Florida, he now calls New York City home and enjoys traveling and exploring Brooklyn’s neighborhoods and real estate landscape.
