John graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Kinesiology and competed as a collegiate baseball player. While he was initially interested in sports science and hoped to build a career in player development, he became increasingly drawn to real estate—especially how buildings, policies, and investments shape the way people experience a city.

Today, he specializes in investment sales throughout Greater Downtown Brooklyn, focusing on mixed-use, multifamily, and retail properties. He’s particularly engaged with the intersection of real estate, housing policy, zoning, and taxation, aiming to build a career rooted in deep market insight and long-term value.

Originally from Tyler, Texas, John now lives in Crown Heights. He loves Brooklyn for its food and cultural diversity and spends much of his free time exploring new neighborhoods. Outside of work, he trains in MMA, lifts weights, and stays sharp by listening to industry podcasts and reading about urban economics and policy. His favorite book is The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs.
