Matthew Cosentino is bracing himself for a great Brooklyn comeback as the borough’s real estate community emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cosentino, a partner at TerraCRG, provides brokerage services for commercial real estate clients exclusively throughout the Brooklyn area.
Recently, Cosentino closed on the sale of a mixed-use building on the border of the Bushwick and Ridgewood neighborhoods for $2.7 million, or $511 per square foot.
Among the biggest boosts, Cosentino believes, will be the return to workplaces and classrooms this September that will heat up the Brooklyn housing market.
Cosentino spoke with me this week about what he’s been keeping an eye on in Brooklyn real estate and what he’s looking forward to most in Brooklyn’s great comeback.
