Ofer Cohen
Founder, Managing Director
Ofer Cohen is a seasoned executive with over 11 years of sales, marketing and entrepreneurial management experience. Ofer founded TerraCRG at the beginning of 2008, with the vision of creating a new type of brokerage company in the Brooklyn Commercial Real Estate market, after a 2.5 year tenure with Massey Knakal Realty Services, the leading investment sales firm in New York City.
At Massey Knakal, he was the Director of Sales for the Sunset Park market. In the short period since joining the firm he has sold hundreds of thousands Sq. Ft. of commercial property and quickly established himself as the Industrial Expert for the Brooklyn market - company wide. In 2006, he was the winner of the Massey Knakal Richard Marcinko Award and was named a Board Member of the Massey Knakal Charitable Foundation.
His focus on Sunset Park has gained him an intimate understanding of the properties, owners and needs of industrial and office users in the area. He has personally walked through and evaluated over 200 buildings in the area and has deep understanding of leasing and sales pricing and trends.
Prior to Massey Knakal, Ofer was a Partner and Head of Marketing for DayNam, LLC, a New-York based boutique marketing agency that focuses on helping foreign ventures launch their operations in the U.S. market. There, as the Local Sales and Business Development Executive for a wide range of technology, retail and media clients, he successfully conceived and managed marketing programs for dozens of foreign companies and launched their sales efforts in the U.S. Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions with several technology and internet ventures. One of which, SonicNet, an online music provider, was successfully acquired by MTV Networks in 1999. There he oversaw product development, brand strategy and marketing communications and helped lead the company to a $150M acquisition.
Ofer has served in the Israeli Defense Forces and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management and Economics from the State University of New York. He currently lives with his wife and twin daughters in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn.
