Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing will have a tremendous impact on the second phase of the growth of the firm as we expand into new areas of Brooklyn and significantly expand our commercial leasing business. TerraCRG has been at the center of the transformation of Brooklyn, becoming a true market leader in the process. The 9-year-old firm — now 30 people strong and growing — has marketed 500+ properties and consistently closes over 50 Brooklyn transactions a year.
The Director of Marketing will report directly to the executive leadership team and will spearhead the firm’s marketing presence across all channels. The position is situated at the heart of everything the company is involved with and, as such, it is instrumental for the candidate to be knowledgeable and passionate about Brooklyn real estate.
- The candidate will bring their own vision and sensibility into the position. They know how to get marketing messages out and how to get the work done.
- Exceptional writing skills, can craft key sales messages and edit large amounts of copy
- Design sensibility – understanding branding and how to manage the design of impactful marketing collateral
- People person – enjoy working with people from different walks of life, and live for the collaborative creative process, with the ability to lead and guide through to the finish line
- Manage internal process of marketing assignment from 8 different sales teams on an on going basis, ensuring smooth flow and efficient production
- Oversee a small team of marketing professionals internally
- Manage outsourced agencies from start to finish
- Strive for innovation in marketing, constantly attempt to take things to the next level
- Be the champion of quality control in terms of branding and messages, writing and design/look and feel
- Design processes for ensuring quality is being met while constantly improving the level of marketing materials and messages
6 – 8 years’ experience in a real estate marketing management role in an agency, real estate development firm or brokerage firm.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with leadership team as well as the sales and leasing teams to generate quality, innovative and design driven marketing programs for TerraCRG’s various asset class assignments
- Coordinate and run the marketing processes for TerraCRG’s sales and leasing teams
- Write, edit, launch and manage all social media entries on a daily basis
- Collaborate on the production of special events including the annual ONLY BKLYN Real Estate Conference
- Manage, design and implement all direct news, magazine and online advertisements and journal ads
- Direct and supervise special marketing projects
