Planet Fitness is working to open a new health club in East New York, following the successful launch of a Brownsville branch that already counts 2,500 members, the chain’s regional manager said.
The moves show savvy, brokers said.
“It makes sense,” said Peter Schubert, managing director of commercial leasing at TerraCRG. “Brownsville and East New York are definitely two emerging areas of Brooklyn where there’s still value.”
